The Museum of Illusions aims to challenge the mind’s perception of reality while providing a sense of wonder and amazement to visitors.
The museum features over 40 interactive 3D illusions that are inspired by cartoons, art, movies, and current events, providing excellent opportunities for taking eye-popping pictures. Visitors can fly on the magic carpet, walk on the edge of the skyscraper, or even cross the lava bridge.

It is home to a collection of nearly 500 works by local, national, and international contemporary artists including Pablo Cano, Teresita Fernandez, Keith Haring, Alex Katz, Edward Ruscha, and George Segal.

“Welcome to Paradise” is a commissioning program at the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami, featuring temporary public art projects by local South Florida artists. The program focuses on ambitious and experimental art installations that explore the intersection of ecology and technology.
Artists are invited to create ambitious and experimental art installations that activate MOCA’s Paradise Courtyard.
The first installation, “Victory Garden”, by Miami-based artist Emmett Moore, was on view until 25th June 2023. “Victory Garden” was an interactive sculptural community garden that examines our relationship with the built environment.
The next installation is “Into The Great Dying: Roles We Play” by Miami-based artist Beatriz Chachamovits. It highlights the declining coral reef ecosystems and the impact of human actions. This installation will be on view from 5th July to 21st November 2023.
The Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami also features the “Art on the Plaza” series, showcasing temporary public art installations by South Florida artists, engaging and connecting the community with unique works of art.
The 2023 series showcases four South Florida artists: Edison Peñafiel, LIZN’BOW (Liz Ferrer and Bow Ty), Sterling Rook, and Chris Friday. The series spans from March 2023 to February 2024. The initiative is aimed at engaging and connecting the community with inspiring works of art.
One of the highlighted installations is “El Mundo Es Mágico” by LIZN’BOW, with a #namethecow contest associated with it. Another highlighted installation is “Run, Run, Run Like The Wind” by Edison Peñafiel, featuring nine large-scale, fantastically-colored banners with lyrics from songs.

The Museum of Graffiti is an institution dedicated to the preservation, exhibition, and celebration of graffiti art. The exhibits at the museum take visitors on a journey that begins with rare works from the 1970s that explain graffiti’s beginnings and continues through the decades, providing insight about the evolution of the art form in cities around the world.
The museum holds several interactive events including:
Spray It Loud - a beginners graffiti lesson held every Saturday.
Kids Graffiti Drawing Class - held every Sunday
Modelo Summer Culture Series - Held on the first Friday of every month, and includes a series of interactive events, such as, opportunities to interact with tattoo and hip hop artists from the area.
The Museum of Graffiti is conveniently located directly next-door to the Wynwood Walls, a separate and renowned street art museum.
7. Wynwood Walls
Wynwood Walls is an outdoor museum that is located in the heart of Miami’s Wynwood Arts District. Wynwood Walls is a collection of giant wall murals covering six buildings. These walls are dedicated to showcasing street art from around the world and displays works by hundreds of artists representing over 20 countries and has covered over 80,000 square feet of walls. Artists represented here include Avak, Cryptik/DALeast, How&Nosm, Neuzz, Swoon, OS Gemoes, amongst others.

The Goldman Global Arts Gallery LLC is located in the Wynwood Walls museum. This gallery showcases over 100 of the world’s greatest street artists, providing viewers and collectors with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the global street art movement.
The current exhibitions include the “Future Starts Now” group show and “Seeing Things” a Solo Show by Leon Keer. Whilst featured artists at the gallery include Mantra, Deih, Ron English, Shepard Fairey, Dasic Fernandez, Dan Kitchener, Ernesto Maranje, The London Police, Greg Mike, and Tavar Zawacki.
The GGA Gallery has also hosted recent exhibitions such as “Bound by Hebru Brantley”, “Dasic Fernandez: Lightness of Being”, “Tokyo Rain”, and “Ethereal” by Vhils.
While the Wynwood Walls themselves are carefully preserved, buildings surrounding the park are covered in murals that constantly change as artists come and go through Wynwood to find inspiration. The best way to explore these artworks is on foot by walking around the neighborhood. There are also several walking tours operating in this area to provide more insight.
