Top 10 All Time Biggest NFT Collections on Solana
Solana is a high-performance blockchain platform, with its first block having been created on 16th March 2020. During its three years of existence, Solana has gained popularity in the NFT space due to its fast transaction times and low fees, making it an attractive platform for buying, selling, and trading NFTs, with several notable NFT collections.
Given the recent birthday, I thought it would be interesting to list the top 10 NFT collections of all time on the Solana network. This data is correct as of 3rd April 2023.
10. Trippin’ Ape Tribe NFTs
In tenth place, Trippin’ Ape Tribe has a total volume of 610K SOL.
The Trippin’ Ape Tribe collection was minted in May 2022. This collection has gone from strength to strength since this date, with over 8,400 owners.
The Trippin’ Ape Tribe collection comprises 10,000 uniquely designed trippy-looking collectible apes.
Trippin' Ape Tribe is a community-first PFP project on Solana, backed by strong and ownable branding, cheeky storytelling, with innovative long-term utility. The concept is based on 10,000 Apes having fallen under the trance of a mysterious yet charismatic leader.

In ninth place, LILY has a total volume of 612K SOL.
LILY is the second collection from The Lotus brand. LILY now has 3,900 owners with a total collection of 10,000.
The Lotus Brand is dedicated to learning and Web 3.0 development, with the aim of creating a knowledge sharing PFP community that gives back to charity and grows together.
LILY was released to help raise funds to support their projects; The LIYPAD and The Lotus Library. The holder will receive access to other Lotus products and experiences, along with time-based holding rewards.

8. CETS ON CRECK NFTs
In eighth place, CETS ON CRECK NFTs has a total volume of 698K SOL.
There is a total of 6,969 CETS in the CETS ON CRECK collection that were first minted in March 2022 and there are now currently 3,900 owners.
The NFT is a collection or community of cets that are rule breakers that live together within the internet. The collection epitomises inner city culture, with cat avatars wearing sporting streetwear with attitude.

There is a total of 4,444 NFTs in the Blocksmith Lab NFT collection that were first minted in April 2022 and there are now currently 2,800 owners.
The NFT comprises a collection of historical style, bearded builders.

In fifth place, y00ts: t00bs NFTs have a total volume of 996k SOL.

The t00bs resembles an orb with a multi-coloured, ringed planet-like object spinning in it. Each t00b can either be held or they can be burned to redeem a random y00t NFT.

In fourth place, with a total volume of 1.8 million SOL are the ABC NFTs.
The ABC (Abracadabra) NFTs are a collection of 10,000 immutable NFTs. The concept of the art is mind the holder of he fun things when they were kids. The NFTs comprise simple-yet-effective artworks, with a child-like artists style to it.
ABC is a decentralized and community-owned nature that sets it apart from other NFT collections.

3. y00ts NFTs
In third place, y00ts NFTs have a total volume of 2.6 million SOL.
y00ts is the sister project of DeGods (no. 1 on this list) and extension of y00ts: t00bs (no. 5 on this list) and was launched in September 2022. y00ts is a collection of 15,000 NFTs that feature a sheep image.
Each y00t can be staked to earn points and prizes. There are also over 50 clubs within the y00t ecosystem. The emphasis is on the community, with opportunities for artists to submit their custom versions of traits for the sheep image. There are also opportunities to undertake commission work for NFT holders.

In the runners up position, we have Okay Bears, with a total volume of 2.9 million SOL.
This collection was released in April 2022 and comprises a collection of 10,000 NFT character bears, each with different traits.
Each Okay Bears NFT holder has access to various rewards and benefits including air drops, merchandise and events. A key component of the community is The Bear Market, which forms the ecosystem of Web 3.0, Web 2.0, and real-life sales channels, exclusive for Okay Bears holders.

1. DeGods NFTs
The all time leading NFT collection on Solana, with a volume of 3.4 million is the very successful DeGods NFT collection.
This NFT collection has been one of the most valuable and popular collections on Solana for a considerable amount of time.
This collection features gods clad in a creative mix of modern streetwear and deity attire. The emphasis is on holders to HODL their NFTs rather than trading them. There is a vibrant community, with several active clubs where members have a space to create and grow the DeGods ecosystem. There are also opportunities to earn rewards for staking NFTs.
In December 2022, it was announced that DeGods, together with y00ts, will be leaving Solana and the NFTs will be bridged over to Ethereum, and will feature on the Polygon layer. This is anticipated to take place in early 2023 and so will take place imminently.
This move by DeGods and y00ts will undoubtedly impact upon this all time list moving forward, so it will be interesting to see what the top 10 All Time Biggest NFT Collections on Solana will be in the next few years.

Solana NFTs: My Final Thoughts
There are some exciting NFT projects on Solana and I really like the way that they use art in innovative ways to create tokens and brands that can interact with their audience via the creation of large, interactive community ecosystems.
